Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the Alo Maids website and all clients booking cleaning services. By booking or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

2. Booking and Access

Clients must ensure proper access to the premises at the scheduled time. If our cleaners arrive and cannot enter due to access issues, the waiting time or lost time will still be chargeable.

3. Service Guarantee

Alo Maids is committed to delivering a satisfactory cleaning service. If you are not satisfied, you must notify us within 12 hours of the service and provide evidence such as photos. We will offer a free make-up cleaning session using the same cleaner or team. Make-up cleanings do not apply if the area becomes dirty again after our cleaners leave.

4. Payments

Payment must be made immediately after the service unless you are on an approved monthly contract.

Accepted payment methods include cash, credit card, cheque, and bank transfer. Card payments may include an additional processing fee.

If an online payment link expires unused, a small fee will apply to regenerate a new link.

For weekly or monthly contractual customers, we may request documents such as tenancy contract, Emirates ID, or passport copy.

Late payments carry a monthly late fee of three percent.

5. Cancellations by Client

Cancellations made less than sixteen hours before the scheduled service will incur a fifty percent charge.

For recurring bookings, multiple consecutive cancellations may result in reassignment of cleaners. If you want to keep the same cleaner or team, a holding fee may apply.

6. Cancellations by Alo Maids

Alo Maids may cancel or reschedule a service due to emergencies, staff illness, or unavoidable circumstances. A replacement cleaner will be provided when possible.

7. Claims, Complaints, and Lost Items

Unless we receive a complaint within twelve hours of service, the job is considered accepted. Refunds are generally not provided after the service is completed.

Any loss or damage claims must be reported within six to eight hours after service.

Clients are encouraged to sign the service completion receipt. If a client refuses to sign, we assume no responsibility for later claims.

8. Hiring Our Cleaners

If you wish to privately hire a cleaner who is under Alo Maids sponsorship, a recruitment transfer fee of twelve thousand dirhams plus visa and legal expenses will apply.

9. Loyalty and Referral Program

Loyalty hours or referral rewards may be used to extend service time under regular rates.

Rewards cannot be accumulated for back-to-back bookings.

Alo Maids may modify or end the loyalty program at any time.

10. Liability Limitations

Alo Maids is not responsible for items that go missing unless reported within the required notification window.

For serious concerns, clients may file a police report, and we will fully cooperate.

11. Service Termination

Alo Maids may terminate recurring service for repeated cancellations, unpaid invoices, or misuse of the service.

If two consecutive invoices remain unpaid, legal action may be taken.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
