ALO Maids & Technical Services was established on January 09, 2013 in response to a widespread practice in UAE (during 2008-2012) where cleaning workers were barely paid salaries of AED400 to AED800 dirhams a month and were not allowed to go back home for holidays for years or until they would complete their labor contract period. Most of the people as per our research were not paid any overtime and they all worked more than 10hrs a day.

Maids So, Alo & Technical Services was started to create fair employment opportunities for this class of workers who are easiest to be exploited.

We take pride in the fact that the packages we offered to the beginners (cleaners/chambermaids) in January 2013 became the minimum requirement and benchmark for employing certain nationality of staff like Filipino workers later and it continues even today in 2018.

We recruit staff based on merit-cum-need and most of our female staff are single parents and only bread winners for their families.

And we wish to serve those who understand that this class of people deserve the same respect as anybody else and they are not machines but human beings, eventually with physical limitations when it comes to physical work. We appreciate the support of our clients who understand the fact that its more difficult to create sustainable employment opportunities for those who are un-educated or semi-educated and unskilled, especially women.

Our Staff

The company is managed by a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals. Our General Manager has qualifications ranging from Business Administration, Entrepreneurship and Cultural Economics. She has working experience with world’s two biggest development organizations namely United Nations and Aga Khan Development Network in areas of Entrepreneurship Promotion and Enterprise Development. She was an adjunct faculty member at the American University in the Emirates, Dubai as well for subjects of Marketing and Management. In addition, she has experience working as a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager for a Group of Companies based in Dubai. She has also successfully facilitated establishment of tens of women owned home-based and small level start-ups in Pakistan.

Our office and field staff members are all professional, trustworthy and hardworking with diverse backgrounds. They bring valuable experience from multiple geographies. Field staff members are trained in housekeeping, cleaning and maintenance as per the international standards of any 5-star hotel.

You will always see our maids and technicians dressed professionally, in company uniform and will be picked and dropped in our own branded vehicles. Our cleaners or maids are provided with environmentally friendly tools and are encouraged to use sustainable and green methods wherever possible, without compromising on the quality of the work.

It is important to mention here that all our cleaning staff comes from poor backgrounds and are sole bread winners for their families. The salaries they earn with their hard work are spent on their families’ food and their children’s education.
